Life in the Field: Chicken Feet

Saying goodbye to his first mission president, President Camarillo and his wife.
Elder Jones has had a wonderful two weeks in Mexico! From celebrations in the streets post election, to going on divisions with his zone leader, Elder Dance, he is staying cool and keeping busy in his first summer in Mexico. The mission said "farewell" to their mission president, President and Sister Camarillo this month, and will welcome President and Sister Egginton from Layton, Utah later this month. The work with some of the investigators is still progressing, so please keep praying for missionary experiences for Elder Jones and all other missionaries in the field. Here is an excerpt from Dallin's letter this week:

We went on Divisions with the zone leaders this week, which was fun. I went with Elder Dance from Mesa, Arizona. He is pretty cool. He has one more transfer than me, so we will go home within 6 weeks of each other. We had a good time together in Morelia.

We got some bad news from Enrique. He doesn't want to listen to us anymore due to all the bad things that are happening right now...He told us that in a few months he will be ready.... pray for him. He is having some problems with his family.

So that picture of chicken feet is pretty sweet! I didn't take a picture of the jar of pig feet! I almost bought one, just to make you all sick! HA HA!

Antonio came to church again yesterday! In two or three weeks we will baptize him! He is super excited. His friend, christian, is preparing for a mission, which is awesome! Antonio said he is interested in serving a mission, so we are pretty excited for him!
